A Bold Approach – A New Era
Leadership programs frequently embrace leadership theories that fail to help women step beyond a narrow structural model and move into executive leadership. Over 90% of health information management professionals are women but less than 5% hold executive positions. The 100 Committed Women Program is a bold approach for changing that landscape and creating a new era of executive women leaders to further health information management at the highest organizational levels.
Leadership: More than a set of skills. More than a step-by-step formula
Leadership is a developmental process lasting a lifetime. Nurturing self, committing to excellence and the common good, challenging the status quo, inspiring and motivating others to act ethically and embrace change, and creating an environment where people and organizations flourish are leadership cornerstones. The 100 Committed Women Program helps women develop personal awareness, leverage their strengths and values, increase their confidence, find their voice in promoting their value and take risks to excel as exceptional executives.
Three Phases and a Community of Support
Phase 1:
Get Ready: Know, embrace, and leverage your authentic self and leadership style.
Over a 10-week period, clarify and expand personal awareness through individual social, psychological, and leadership assessments and facilitated group coaching teleconferences
Phase 2:
Get Set: Set your vision, hone your leadership, formulate your action plan
During a 3-day intensive onsite session with 25 other committed women like yourself develop a leadership vision aligned with your values and design an action plan that leverages your strengths to make things happen
Phase 3:
Get Going: Advance your leadership plan
Over a 14-week period engage in mindful leadership behaviors and forward your action plan through weekly peer coaching sessions and facilitated group coaching teleconferences
Certificate of Completion: A certificate of completion is awarded by The Monarch Center for Women's Leadership Development for all attendees who complete attendance requirements and program activities.
